Hi there. My name is Adam Sergott and I’ve been writing since 2015 when I graduated cum laude from Salem State University with a bachelors in English with a focus on professional writing and a communications minor.

My journey in writing began when I decided to be a journalist and was the focus of my formal education. I changed industries when I realized that homemaking is my true passion.

Because I grew up in a broken home and understand the struggles people face when they don’t have the resources and support to navigate life. This was my experience for sure, and after my marriage ended I found myself in more than $136K of consumer and student loan debt. As my friend Jennie would say, “none of the Buenos”.

This was when I started reparenting myself. I Learned all of the skills I was not taught growing up and needed to take care of myself in health, sustainable ways, and writing about it along the way.

I started my blog, Boho Hippy Homes, to chronical my journey in creating my home, and as homage to my hippy roots where I’ve been honing my craft. As the Grateful Dead said, “It’s been a long strange trip”, and indeed it has :)🏔️🌙🌻
